PDQ Precision’s Managing Director, Martin Thrower, has raced motorcycles for over 25 years. From two-stroke GP bikes in the ACU 250GP Championship with NGRRC to a modern day Ducati Panigale in the TriOptions Cup, a British SuperBikes support class.
This passion for motorsport has sparked PDQ Factory. We design and manufacture race-crafted components and products with a focus on quality and affordability.
ZXR400 Carburettor Venturi Set
Developed using our own PDQ ZXR400 race bike we experimented with several designs using our prototypes constructed from plastic and 3D printed material. We arrived at a design that produced a broad spread of power. The aim of the project was to deliver a simple bolt-on performance enhancement that worked well and looked good. With the venturi fitted, our own ZXR400 produced an additional 1.5bhp throughout the rev range
We 3D milled the final components by making an exact copy of the best plastic prototype version and finished with a rich, red anodised finish.
